I love a good marinade! And bone in meat is always so flavorful, combine the two and wow! We have a winner!
So tonight for dinner I made a honey bourbon glazed bone in pork chop, topped with sauteed onions and pears on the side we served steamed asparagus and a lightly seasoned sweet potato. It was easy, and super delicious! Bonus points for healthy too!

Here is what you need!
For Marinade:
2 Tbsp Sweet and smokey barbecue rub seasoning mix
2 Tbsp organic honey
1 Tbsp bourbon
1/4 c water
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
Coat chops in marinade and allow to soak for 1-2 hours turning once
2 lbs bone in thick cut pork chops
1 sm yellow onion chopped
1 pear chopped
1 tbsp olive oil.
Heat your olive oil and saute the onion and pear. Remove from the pan and sear the pork chops until cooked through. Return the onions and pears to the pan and add the chops. Cook covered on low for another 4 minutes. Serve hot! Enjoy!
