Keto Friendly Burger Buns

On my quest for keto-friendly bread options I found this gem! A 5 ingredient recipe for burger buns!

5 minutes to prep and 15min to bake these are easy and delicious! You can thank me later!

Here is what you’ll need:

3c. Mozzarella Cheese

2oz cream cheese

1Tbsp baking powder

1 3/4c. Almond flour

2 eggs

Optional egg wash and sesame seeds for the top

Preheat you oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or silpat mat.

In a saucepan over medium heat melt the cheeses slowly and stir until well blended. Do not over heat or scorch the cheese. Allow to cool slightly and add the cheese to a food processor. Add dry ingredients and eggs and pulse until blended into a sticky dough.

Wet your hands and remove the dough onto an almond floured surface. Knead until smooth 1-2 minutes. Separate into 4-6 buns roll and flatten into desired shape on your baking sheet.

If you want a glossy brown top brush on egg wash and add sesame seeds.

Bake 15-17minutes until golden brown. Slice and serve! Enjoy!
