Beginner’s Guide to Thanksgiving Dinner~Turkey Gravy

Gravy is another essential ingredient for Thanksgiving dinner. We use it on the potatoes, stuffing, and turkey it’s just that good! It’s also tremendously easy to make so don’t automatically reach for the pre-made jar of gravy at the grocery store. You can store in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze it for later use. I save whatever is left and add it to a turkey pot pie the next day it’s divine! Here is what you need:

2-3 cups of drippings from the turkey roasting pan

1/4c. All purpose flour

Salt and pepper to taste

Pinch of rosemary

2 Tbsp of butter

In a medium saucepan collect the turkey drippings, warm to simmering and add the remaining ingredients. Stir continuously with a whisk until well blended and bubbling. Remove from heat and serve warm. This is the final item to prepare on my menu so it’s fresh and perfectly smooth. Enjoy!
