Apple Blueberry Fritters

My blog presence this year has a bit to be desired. I start and stop and start and stop, and so here I am again apologizing for my delayed content… But, I have great news! I have a whole bunch of stuff to upload for you over the next couple weeks. I’m going to start with my Breakfast series continuation, and what better way to kick things back off than with a homemade donut! I enjoy donuts but if I’m being honest it’s not my all time favorite breakfast food. After eating a donut for breakfast I feel over full and on a bit of a sugar rush, but as an occasional treat it’s a nice option. If I do have a donut for breakfast I tend to lean toward simple ones like bear claws, or fritters. So today I bring you a special treat with this recipe for a fruit packed Apple Blueberry Fritter. The sweet apples paired with the slightly tart blueberries in a lightly fried batter and topped off with a simple glaze makes this a sweet simple treat. Enjoy!Ingredients:1c.
